Description:
This course addresses the skills necessary to perform a first response rescue.
The course focuses on the use of pre-rigged rescue equipment in a range of different workplace scenarios.

Pre-entry Requirements:
Students must meet the following entry requirements:
Hold a work at heights competency (MNM237A or RIIOHS204A or equivalent) and hold the Apply First Aid competency (HLTFA301B or equivalent).
Assessment:
Assessment of this course is through theory assessment and completion of a number of different rescue activities using pre-rigged rescue systems.
Delivery Method:
Classroom delivery via PowerPoint and practical activities involving the use of pre-rigged rescue systems.
