BHP Billiton - Iron Ore - Confined Space Permit Holder

This course is designed for students who will be supervising a work crew or a person performing work in or around confined spaces on a BHP Billiton Iron Ore Site. These students are responsible for the accepting and implementation of the Confined Space Entry Permit that has been issued by the Permit Issuer.

Description:
The Confined Space Permit Holder course is designed to provide the necessary skills, knowledge and authority to supervise a work crew or persons working under an issued permit in confined spaces on a BHP Billiton Iron Ore site. The course targets the processes required to supervise a safe entry and conduction of work within a designated confined space.

Pre-entry Requirements:
BHPBIO Confined Space Entrant/Standby course must be completed prior to course commencement.

Assessment:
Students learning outcomes will be assessed using direct observation, oral and/or written questions, and/or use of a workbook, and practical exercises as appropriate.

Delivery Method:
The training is delivered through a mixture of both classroom and simulated workplace activities.
